Filet Crochet George Washington Chair Set No 7591

Filet Crocheted Chair Set:  This pattern contains directions for making a filet crocheted chair set. If desired the set can also be used as a buffet set or the chair back can be used as scarf ends. Included in the pattern is a chart for the chair back and the arm rest, also directions describing how the charts are to be used.   When completed, the chair back measures 12-1/2 by 16 inches and the arm rests are 6 by 12 inches each. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7591 in 1943.  The newspaper description:  "Let the father of your country be an inspiration to you and your family ... on the dignified filet crochet chair sets.
