Filet Crochet Chair Set:  This crocheted chair set is to be made of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. If desired the chair set can also be used as a buffet set or the chair back can be used as scarf ends. The pattern includes a filet chart for the chair back and arm rest also directions describing how the charts are to be used. The chair back will measure 13 x 16 and the arm rests are 6 x 11 inches each.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  This pattern was marketed Laura Wheeler 2845 in 1941.  The newspaper description:  "Of course you want accessories that are different! Here's your chance to crochet a smart chair set or pair of scarf ends for your home. It's fun following the simple chart and watching the thoroughbreds appear".

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS:

No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No. 14 steel crochet hook.

7 (150 yard) balls are required for a chair set or 2 scarf ends.
