Filet Crochet Kitten Chair Set Laura Wheeler 1902

Design 1902 - Crocheted Carriage Set (Cover and Pillow):  This filet crocheted carriage cover and pillow are to made of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton. The pattern includes a chart for the carriage cover and pillow top. Directions are also given for a crib cover.   When completed, the carriage cover measures 26 x 30 inches; the pillow 13 x 13 inches and the crib cover 35 x 40 inches. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler Design 1902 in 1938. 

Materials:   3 (500 yard) skeins of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton, a No. 7 steel crochet hook, 2 yards of satin ribbon 12 inches wide, a 13 inch square foundation cushion and 1-1/4 yards of lining material.
