Crochet Lace Tablecloth Motif:   Each separate block measures 6” - and various numbers of them can be combined to form a tea cloth, a banquet cloth, a buffet runner or, in a group of 4 squares., they form a very handsome square doily. The square doilies can be used advantageously in pairs on a vanity dresser.

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 5511 in 1947. 

Materials: Mercerized crochet cotton, size 50. (2 small balls of White will make 4 squares). Needle: Steel crochet hook #10. (Squares can be made of J. & P. Coats or Clark's Best Six Cord Mercerized Crochet Cotton).
