Filet Crochet Pansy Chair Set Design 7537

Filet Crochet Chair Set:  This pattern contains directions for making a filet crochet chair set. If desired the set can also be used as a buffet set or the chair back can be used as scarf ends. Included in the pattern is a chart for the chair back and the arm rest, also directions describing how the charts are to be used.   The chair back will measure 12 x 16inches and the arm rests are 7 x 12 inches each.  

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7537 in 1943. 

Materials:  No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton in (175 yard- balls and a No. 12 steel crochet hook. (7 balls of cotton will make a chair set or 2 scarf ends).
