Filet Crochet Chair Set, Buffet Ends: This filet crocheted chair set is made of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton. It can also be used as a buffet set or the chair back can be used as ends for scarfs. Included in the pattern is a filet chart for the chair back and arm rest, also directions describing how the charts are to be used.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 6871 in 1938.

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins and a No. 7 steel crochet hook. 2 skeins of cotton will make a chair set or 2 scarf ends.
