Description

Filet Crochet Square:  This filet crocheted popcorn square can either be made of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton or of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. When joined together the squares form bedspreads, scarfs and pillows. The pattern includes a chart for the square also directions describing how the chart is to be used.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 6305.

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins and a No. 7 steel crochet hook or No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No. 12 steel crochet hook.   Each square requires approximately 225 yards of heavy cotton or 150 yards of fine cotton.
