Filet Crochet Chair Set:   This, crocheted chair set is made of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton. The set may also be used as a buffet set or the large piece may be used as scarf ends. Included in the pattern is a chart for each piece, also directions describing how the charts are to be used.   When complete, the chair back measures 13 x 16 inches and the arm rests are 6-1/2 x 12-1/2 inches each.  

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 2260 in 1939.

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins and a No. 7 steel crochet hook. (2 skeins of cotton will make a chair set or 2 scarf ends)
