Filet Crochet Buffet Set or Scarf:  This filet crochet design lends itself to a buffet set, a scarf and doilies. Made in string, the large piece measures 12* x 18* inches and the smaller pieces 8 1/2 x 12 1/2 inches. Directions and charts are given below.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs. The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 874 in 1934.  

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: For buffet set 2 skeins of unbleached crochet and knitting cotton (large piece alone requires 1 skein). A No. 7 steel crochet hook.
