IF ROSES are your favorite, we offer this center piece for your nimble crochet, and if your hook is not so nimble, we offer it anyway. It is really all in filet crochet but there is a simulated inset, like a center panel, which is done in double squares, giving the effect of French val.

This makes it more interesting than if it were all a plain filet mesh.  incress across, by using across No 10 you get 25 inches.  While the soft knitting and crochet cotton will produce a centerpiece of 32 or 33 inches. .

Description

Filet Crochet Table Center:   This pattern gives directions to crochet the doily pictured.   This is a centerpiece design worked in No. 10 Cotton or Cotton and Knitting Worsted.  When completed, the doily will measure 25, or 32 inches in diameter, depending upon materials used.  Note:  Due to size, the chart is printed to two pages, which will require taping together.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements.   The pattern, Needlework Bureau, was marketed as Ruth Orr No. 366 in 1936.
