Jiffy Filet Crocheted Cloths:  These filet crocheted cloths can be made of double Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton, of a single strand of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton or of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. The choice of cotton governs the size and texture.  These cloths, depending upon materials selected, may be created at 20, 30, 40 and 60 inches in diameter. 

This is a Mail Order Designs pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed at Laura Wheeler 2029 in 1939.  The newspaper description:  "Two strands of mercerized string make the work go fast!. You can crochet this 60 inch cloth or one 30 or 20 inches in finer cotton".
