Individual Filet Luncheon Set:  This pattern gives directions to create the doily set pictured.  Here are three doilies that form a luncheon set. But what is to prevent you from using them throughout the house as doilies? The neat, attractive design is one that can be used with every type of furniture. The largest piece measures 25 inches in diameter and is used for the centerpiece. The plate doily measures 11 inches while the bread and butter doily measures 9 inches in diameter with Size 30 cotton.   Note:  As was consistent at the time, this pattern is written in all caps.  

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements.  The pattern was marketed as Needle Arts No 1236 in 1939.

MATERIALS:   FOR THE 3 DOILIES, NO. 1, MEASURES 25 INCHES IN DIAMETER; NO. 2 MEASURES 11-1/2 INCHES; No. 3 MEASURES 9 INCHES; SIZE 30 MERCERIZED CROCHET COTTON, 15 BALLS (150 YDS IN EACH BALL); STEEL CROCHET HOOK, SIZE 11 OR 12.   FOR THE 3 DOILIES, No. 1 MEASURES 30 INCHES; NO.2 MEASURES 14 INCHES; NO. 3 MEASURES 11-1/2 INCHES; SIZE 20 MERCERIZED CROCHET COTTON, 18 BALLS, (125 YDS IN EACH BALL) STEEL CROCHET HOOK, SIZE 10 OR 11.
