Description

Filet Crocheted Squares:  These two filet squares - worked in a rose design are to be made of string or of fine cotton. They may be combined to form bedspreads, cloths, scarfs, pillows and buffet sets; each design may be used alone if desired. The pattern includes a chart of each square also directions describing how the charts are to be used.  The squares are 6-1/2 or 10 inches.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7052 in 1941. 

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS:  Unbleached crochet and knitting cotton in (800 yard) skeins and a No. 7 steel crochet hook;   or No. 50 mercerized crochet cotton and a No. 12 steel crochet hook   (Each square requires approximately 150 yards of heavy cotton or 92 yards of fine cotton)
