Description

Crocheted Square:  These two filet squares are to be worked in string or Mercerized cotton. They may be combined to form bedspreads, teacloths, scarfs, pillow and buffet sets, or each design may be used alone if desired. The pattern includes a chart of each square also directions describing how the charts are to be used.  The squares measure 7-1/2 inches each.  Full page chart included for each of the squares.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 5692 in 1936.  The newspaper description:  "The filet crochet cloth and bedspread are becoming more and more popular.
