Filet Crochet Waterlily Doilies Design 1507

Filet Crocheted Doilies: These two filet crocheted doilies can either be made of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton or of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton depending on their use. They can be used as buffet sets, luncheon sets or as odd doilies. The pattern includes a filet chart of each doily also directions describing how the charts are to be used.   Crochet the oval doilies at 18 x 24 inches, or 12 x 16 inches.  Crochet the round doilies at 12 or 8 inches in diameter. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 1507 in 1937. 

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins and a No. 7 steel crochet hook or No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No. 12 steel crochet hook. 2 (500 yard) skeins of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton will make 1 large and 1 small doily or 6 (125 yard) balls of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton will make 1 large and 1 small doily.
