Filet Crochet Chair Set : This filet crocheted chair set, made of No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton, may also be used as a buffet set or the large piece may be used as ends for scarfs. The pattern includes a filet chart for the chair back and the arm rest. When completed, the chair back will measure 13 x 14 and the arm rests are 6 x 11 1/2 inches.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 894 in 1944.  

Materials:   Crochet Cotton in (150 yard) balls;   No. 12 steel crochet hook.  6 balls of cotton will make a chair set or two scarf ends.
