Description

Filet Crochet Stole:  This pattern gives directions for the filet crocheted stole pictured.  The official magazine description for this vintage 1953 pattern "  Newsworthy stole – because it's filet crochet in a checkerboard pattern of blocks and openwork. Also because the yarn is new, dark flashed with colored metallic. Of Sea-spun Stardust".   The finished stole (including fringe) measures 17 x 72 inches.   This design is worked per directions; no charts.   

Materials:  Seaspun Stardust, 11 1-oz. skeins;   Hero steel crochet hook No. 6. 

Gauge: 3 bls=1" ; 3 sps=1".
