Description

Crocheted Chair Set:  This filet crocheted chair set, made of unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton, may also be used as a buffet set or the large piece may to used as ends for scarfs. The pattern includes a filet chart for the chair back and the arm rest, also instructions describing how the charts are to be used.  When completed the chair back will measure 15 x 16 inches and the arm rests are 6 x 13 inches each.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs. This pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 807 in 1947.   It was also marketed under The American Weekly and Alice Brooks brand names.

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins and a No. 7 steel crochet hook.  2 skeins of cotton will make a chair set or 2 scarf ends.
