Filet Crochet Chair Set:  This filet crocheted chair set is to be made of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. If desired the set can also be used as a buffet set or the chair back can be used to form ends for scarfs. Included in the pattern are charts for the chair back and arm rest.   When completed the chair back measures 12-1/2 x 16 inches and the arm rests are 6-1/2 x 12/12 inches each.  

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7456 in 1943.  

Materials:  No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton in (175 yard) balls and a No. 12 steel crochet hook.   8 (175 yard) balls of cotton will make a chair set or two scarf ends.
