Filet Crochet Chair Set:  This filet crocheted chair set is made of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. If desired the chair set can be used as a buffet set or the chair back can be used as ends for scarfs. Included in the pattern is a chart for the chair back and arm rest, also directions telling how the charts are to be used.   When completed, the chair back will measure 13-1/2 x 16 inches and the arm rests are 6-1/2 x 12-1/2 inches each. 

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through The American Weekly newspaper inserts.  It was marketed in 1941.  The newspaper description:  "You'll enjoy crocheting these adorable kittens. And just see what a lovely buffet or chair set they make.! Work this exclusive design in fine cotton".

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton in (175 yard) balls and a No. 14 steel crochet hook, (6 balls of cotton will make a chair set or 2 scarf ends).
