Filet Medallion Crochet Bedspread Pattern Lily 807

Filet Medallion Bedspread No 807 : This pattern contains directions to crochet the bedspread pictured. A delightful lacy piece of medallions. The medallions are made separately and sewed together. The edge is sewed on all around the spread, thus completing the design. You may leave the spread with the straight edge as shown, or add fringe to the straight edges as desired. The pattern, No 807, from Lily Mills. Finished size is not stated; continue making medallion rows until you reach your desired size. This filet crochet motif would also make a marvelous cloth.

Note:  This pattern, vintage 1938, is worked to directions; there is no chart.

 Materials:

• Size 20 Daisy Mercerized Crochet Cotton in either color: Ivory, Beige, Cream, White, or Ecru, measures about 6 inches. seven medallions can be made from 1 skein.
• Steel hook-Lily's Viking brand 8 or 9
