Filet Peacock Chair Set, Alice Brooks 6108

Filet Crocheted Chair Set:  This filet crocheted chair set, made of unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton, may also be used as a buffet set or the large piece may be used as ends for scarfs. The pattern includes a filet chart for the chair back and the arm rest.   The chair back will measure 12-1/2 x 15 inches and the arm rests (buffet ends) are 6 x 12-1/2 inches each. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 6108 in 1938.  

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins and a No. 7 steel crochet hook. (2 skeins of cotton will make a chair set or 2 scarfs).
