Filet Puritan Crochet Bedspread Pattern

Filet Crocheted Bedspread Design : This pattern has instructions for crocheting the bedspread shown. This design is made up of 3 different block motifs, each measuring a large 9-1/2 inches square. The blocks are joined together to form a most interesting Puritan motif. Fringe is added on three sides. This crochet design is vintage 1935 from Lily Mills.

Materials:

• Lily Skytone Mercerized Crochet Cotton in Cream and a color. Single Size-76x104-1/2 inches without fringe — 37 balls Cream and 28 balls color. double Size-85-1/2 x 104-1/2 inches without fringe — 41 balls Cream and 31 balls color.
• Steel Crochet Hook Size 8.

GAUGE—Each block measures about 9-1/2" square when blocked.
