Filet Rose Pineapple Chair Set, American Weekly 3177

Crocheted Chair Set : This pattern contains directions to crochet the chair set shown. This is a lovely chair set. The center is a rose filet crochet motif that is worked to included charts. The border is double rows of crocheted pineapples. The two are joined together to form a chair back that measures 13 x 15 inches, or arm rests that are 5 x 13 inches each.

This is a mail order pattern, typically purchased through newspapers and catalogs. This pattern was marketed as the American Weekly 3177.  I've not found the newspaper ad (yet), but place it around 1949.
