Filet Tablecloth Square, Butterfly Flower Design 867

Filet Crochet Squares:  These two filet designs - one a butterfly' and the other floral - are to be worked in string or in fine crochet cotton. They may be combined to form bedspreads, tea cloths, scarfs or pillows; each design may be used along if desired. The pattern includes a chart of each square.  The squares can measure 6-1/2 or 8 inches.  

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 867.  The newspaper description:  "Use string or fine crochet cotton for these filet crochet squares - join alternately. Flower wreaths and butterfly squares create precious heirloom cloth, scarfs, pillows".
