Floral Centerpiece Crochet Doily No 2692

Floral Centerpiece:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the doily pictured.  This is a lovely flower wheel motif that can be created in several centerpiece sizes, depending upon materials used. 

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed at Anne Cabot 2692 in 1962.  

MATERIALS: J. & P. COATS BIG BALL Best Six Cord Mercerized Crochet Cotton -- Approximately 600 yds. Of #20; NEEDLE: Milliards Steel Crochet Hook NO, 10, Note: If this size thread and hook are used, and the work is done in moderate tension, the finished piece will measure approximately 24 inches in diameter. for a large a larger one use #10 thread and #8 hook; for a smaller fine lace doily, use #30 to #50 thread and a #12 to #14 hook.
