Filet Crochet Apron:  This pattern contains directions for making a lacy filet crochet apron worked in treble crochet. It is easy to make and it works up quickly. The apron is made of No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. The skirt is 16 x 28 inches; the bib is 7 x 8 inches.  Charts are included in the pattern also directions describing how the charts are to be used.  

This is a Mail Order pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.   This pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7232 in 1945.  The newspaper description:  "You'll love being tied to these apron strings. MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS:  3 (400 yard) balls of No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton;  No. 10 steel crochet hook.
