Filet Crochet Chair Set : This pattern contains directions for making a filet crocheted chair set made of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. The chair set can also be used as a buffet set or the chair back can be used as ends for scarfs. Included in the pattern is a filet chart for the chair back and arm rest.  When completed the chair back will measure 12-1/2 x 16 inches and the arm rests are 6 x 11 inches each.  An illustrated is included for use as scarf ends.

This is a mail order pattern, purchased through newspapers and magazines. This Design was marketed as Laura Wheeler 982 in 1942.   It was quite a popular pattern, also released under numbers 419 and 674.

Materials:   No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton in (175 yard) balls;   No. 12 steel crochet hook.

GAUGE : 6 spaces = 1 inch; 6 rows = 1 inch.
