Filet Crocheted Chair Set: " This filet crocheted chair set is to be made of No 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. If desired the chair set may also be used as a buffet set or the chair back can be used as ends for scarfs. Included in the pattern is a filet chart for the chair back and arm rest; also directions describing how the charts are to used". The motif on this chair set is a large urn styled vase with a wonderful rose bouquet on a piece that measures 13 x 16 inches. The arm rests feature the roses only and measures 6 x 11 inches. Note: The charts are on the dark side from this very old paper. There are, however, quite readable.

This is a Mail Order Pattern purchased through newspapers. The pattern was marketed as No 3196, estimated early 1940's.

Materials:

• No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton in (150 yard) balls No.
• 12 steels crochet hook.

Ten (150 yard) balls of cotton will make a chair set or 2 scarf ends.

GAUGE: 6 spaces = 1 inch; 6 rows - 1 inch.
