Four Leaf Clover Crochet Medallion Design 6462

Crocheted Medallion:  This crocheted medallion can be made either of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton or of No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. When joined together the medallions form bedspreads, cloths, scarfs, pillows and other household articles.  Crochet at 4 or 6 inches square.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 6462.  The newspaper description:  "See how the lucky four leaf cover is formed with the squares join? It's indeed a lucky square for it makes choice accessories. Use it for gift making".  

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins and a No 8 steel crochet hook or of No 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton in (125 yard) balls and a No. 10 steel crochet hook.  (Each medallion requires approximately 40 yards of heavy cotton, or 25 yards of fine cotton).
