Frilly Ruffled Doily Crochet Pattern 6 point Star

No 4038 - Frilly Doily :  Here's a pretty piece for those of you that love to crochet doilies.   This one has an attractive 6 point star as the central motif, followed by a deep fringe.   The pattern does not state dimensions between the star motif and the fringe, but it looks fairly even.   The doily, when completed, measures 9 inches in diameter.   The design if vintage 1945 from Coats Clarks. 

Materials:

• - J&P Coats Clarks O.N.T. Best Six Cord Mercerized Crochet, Size 30, Small ball.
• - J&P Costs - 2 balls of white or ecru  OR
• - Clarks O.N.T. - 3 balls of White or Ecru, or 4 balls any collor
• - Big Ball: J&P Coats - 1 ball of White or Ecru or Cream
• - Steel Crochet Hook No 10 or 11
