Galloping Horses Filet Crochet Chair Set

Filet Crocheted Chair Set : This pattern contains directions to create the lovely chair set shown. "Poetry in Motion - graceful galloping horses make a spirited design for a chair or a buffet set. Worked in easy filet crochet to full page charts. The finished chair back will measure 14 x 16 inches and each of the arm rests are 6 x 12 inches.

This is a mail order design pattern, purchased through newspapers and magazines. This pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7135.   The newspaper description:  "Filet Crochet - unusual in design yet simple to do. Let these graceful horses decorate and protect your chair or use them for a buffet set. The larger piece repeated makes handsome scarf ends, if you prefer".

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS:  No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton in (150 yard) balls and a No. 12 steel crochet hook. (10 balls of cotton will make a chair set or two scarf ends)
