Description

Modern Potholders :  This pattern contains directions to crochet the set pictured.   Here we have geometric mats in three different sizes. The set will add to your kitchen foundation in a bright a colorful way.   I'd suggest making multiple sets !   The pattern is vintage late 1950s from American Thread. 

Large mat measures 8 ½ inches x 11 ¾ inches. 
Small mat measures 6 ¾ inches x 8 ¾ inches. 
Potholder measures 5 ½ inches x 5 ½ inches.

Materials: 

  • - AMERICANTHREAD COMPANY "STAR" FAST HEAVY CROCHET MERCERIZED COTTON,Article 140
  • - 5 balls Sunshine Yellow.
  • - 2 balls each Emerald Green and Red.
  • - 1 ball Black or colors of your choice for entire set. 
  • - Steel crochet hook No. l.
