Girls Crochet Mesh Vest Pattern No 5464

Girl's Crocheted Mesh Vest:   This pattern gives directions to crochet the girls vest pictured.   This is an easy pattern, primarily work in single crochet and v-stitch.  The hip length vest features front tie closure with cute doll pompom ends.  The directions are written for size 4, with changes for 6, 8, 10, and 12 in parentheses. 

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.   The pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot No 5464 in 1970.  

MATERIALS: "RED HEART" KNITTING WORSTED (4 Ply): 5 (6, 7, 9, 10) ounces of Blue or favorite color. Needle: Crochet Hook, Size K. Accessories: Scrap of pink felt; 2 yds. of yellow 3-ply fingering yarn; light blue, yellow and red sewing thread.
