Green Medallion Block Crochet Afghan Pattern, Siesta C122

Crocheted Afghan: This pattern has instructions to crochet the afghan shown. This interesting design has a round compass type medallion in two shades of green on a third shade of green background. (Feel free to change to colors of your choice). Each of the squared medallions measure 5 inches. Join them together to form an afghan or throw that is 47 x 62 inches. This design is early 1950s from The Spool Cotton Company.

Materials:

• CHADWICK'S RED HEART KNITTING WORSTED, 4 Ply, Art. E.232: 16 skeins (1 oz. "Tangle-Proof" Pull-Out Skeins) of No. 686 Paddy Green; 14 skeins of No. 676 Emerald Green and 9 skeins of No. 647 Surf Green.
• Clark's O.N.T. Plastic Crochet Hook No. 6.

GAUGE: Each motif measures 5 inches square.
