Hairpin Lace Crocheted Cape Bed Jacket Pattern

Bed Jacket : This pattern contains instructions to create the bedjacket pictured above. Breakfast in bed seems doubly luxurious in this feminine cape-jacket of hairpin lace. Especially pretty in pastels. Worked with a Hairpin Lace Loom and Crochet Hook. The pattern is medium (typically 12/14) size and is vintage 1956 from McCalls.

MATERIALS:   Bear Brand or Fleisher's "Jiffy" Nylon 'n Wool, 4 2-oz. skeins;   One 3" hairpin lace loom. Plastic crochet hook No.5. 

GAUGE: 9 lps=2" (measured at center of lace strip).
