Heirloom Centerpiece Crochet Doily, Anne Cabot 2073

Heirloom Centerpiece Doily:  This pattern contains directions to crochet the doily pictured.   This pattern is classified as a centerpiece, however at 34 inches in diameter, it certainly qualifies as a round cloth.   Crocheted in a charming flower motif in Size 20 cotton. 

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  This pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 2073.  The newspaper description:  "Start your heirloom collection with this handsome 34 inch centerpiece. Crochet in subtle ecru or sparkling white with clusters of lovely flower motifs set in a lacy background".

Materials: 

• 14 small balls of mercerized crochet cotton, size 20, or 9 large balls of mercerized
• crochet cotton, size 20, in white or ecru
• Steel crochet hook No. 9
