Description

Luncheon and Chair Set : This pattern contains directions to crochet both a luncheon set and a chair set. The design is a honeycomb type base with pineapples on the ends. The luncheon set is really a single place mat pattern than you may, of course, duplicate to meet up with the number of places needed at your table. Each place mat measures 11 x 17 inches. Their is a matching motif chair set that gives changes for a chair back at 13 x 17-1/2 inches and arm rests at 7 x 11 inches. The pattern is a simple design, but is quite eye catching. The pattern set is vintage 1946 from The Spool Cotton Company.

Materials:

  • J. & P. COATS OR CLARK'S O.N.T. BEST SIX CORD MERCERIZED CROCHET, Size 20: Small Ball: J. & P. COATS-7 balls of White or Ecru, or CLARK'S O.N.T.-14 balls of White or Ecru
  • Steel Crochet Hook No.9.

GAUGE: 4 sps make 1 ¾ inches.
