Horseshoe Cable Knitted Cardigan Pattern

Cabled Cardigan : This pattern contains directions for knitting both of the cardigans shown. These Aran designed pullovers are worked in a combination of Horseshoe Cable and Popcorn stitching. It's an interesting combination, as full of Right and Left Twists, as you might expect. The pattern is on the Advanced scale. The cardigans, with same stitch differ in collar only - one with and one without. The long sleeve, hip length designs are misses size 10, with changes for 12, 14, 16 and 18 in parentheses.

Materials:

• BERNAT BLARNEY-SPUN (2 oz. Balls) 17 (18-18-19-19)
• 1 pair each BERNAT-Aero straight knitting needles Nos. 3 and 5 ( Canadian needles Nos. 11 and 9) OR ANY SIZE NEEDLES THAT WILL GIVE THE STITCH GAUGE
• I BERNAT-Aero cable stitch needle
• 8 buttons

GAUGE: 13 sts = 2 inches; 7 rows = 1 inch
