Description

Fairy Ring Bedspread Design : This pattern, vintage 1930s from Lily Mills, contains directions for crochet the spread pictured. A lovely spread with a lovely intricate design that starts with a floral motif and continues into a block motif that measures 6-1/4 inches and assumes a somewhat star effect when joined into the spread.

Materials:  Lily's Skytone Mercerized Crochet Cotton in White, Cream, Ecru, Beige or Ivory. Single Size-39 balls. double Size-46 balls;   Steel Crochet Hook Size 8 or 9.

GAUGE—Each block measures about 6-1/4 inches square when blocked and requires 76 yds. For a single size spread about 75 x 106 inches, make 12 x 17 blocks. For a double size spread about 87-1/2 x 106 inches, make 14 x 17 blocks.
