Iris Bedspread Crochet Pattern

Crocheted Bedspread : This pattern contains directions to crochet the spread shown. This lovely design, going back to the 1930s, features a lightly and lacy motif that is meant to resemble an Iris flower - from the center, folding out. Each motif measures about 3 1/2" across when blocked and required 16 yards. Join the motifs together to from a spread that measures 74 x 109, or 88 x 109. The design would also be suitable for scarves, runners and cloths of other sizes.

Materials:

• Lily's Daisy Mercerized Crochet Cotton. Size 20, in Ecru, Cream, Ivory or White. Single Size-51 balls. double Size-62 balls.
• Steel Crochet Hook Size 9 or 10.
