Description

Crocheted Afghan : This pattern contains directions for crocheting the afghan, and matching pillow, shown. The afghan is worked in a primary and four secondary colors of Knitting Worsted. It is made of of 6-1/2 inch hexagon motifs with floral centers for the afghan and 5-1/2 inch motifs for the pillow. Join the hexagons together to create an afghan that will measure 47 x 60 inches or pillows that are 15 inches in diameter.

Materials:   Heavy Knitting Worsted in (4 ounce) skeins or 4-Ply Afghan Yarn;   American Crochet Hook No. 6 Plastic or English Crochet Hook No. 7.

For Afghan: Each hexagon (6-1/2 inches diagonally from point to point) takes about 22 yds. Main Color and 10 yds. Contrasting Color.

For Pillow: Each hexagon (5-1/2 inches diagonally from point to point) takes about 15 yds Main Color and 10 yards Contrasting Color.
