Jiffy Crochet Cloth Doily Pattern Design 2835

Jiffy Crocheted Cloth : This table cloth can be made either of two strands of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton worked together, or of a single strand of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton or of No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. The choice of cotton governs the size and texture of the cloth. Directions are given telling where to end off to make two sizes in each material. The cloths are worked in a large scale flower pineapple motif.

Materials:

• HEAVY CLOTHS APPROXIMATELY 64 INCHES AND 42 INCHES IN DIAMETER MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: A 65 inch cloth requires 7 (700 yard) skeins, a 42-inch cloth requires 2 skeins, of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton and a No. 1 steel crochet hook.
• Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton and a No. 1 steel crochet hook. For these cloths use two strands of cotton worked together, this will make a very heavy thread. Do not work with a single strand of cotton.
• MEDIUM WEIGHT CLOTHS APPROXIMATELY 42 INCHES AND 26 INCHES IN DIAMETER MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: A 42-inch cloth requires 3 (700 yard) skeins, a 26-inch cloth requires 2 skeins of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton and a No. steel crochet hook. For this cloth work with only a single strand of cotton.
• FINE DOILIES APPROXIMATELY 30 INCHES AND 18 INCHES IN DIAMETER) MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: A 30-inch doily requires 9 (150 yard) balls, an 18-inch doily requires 5 balls of No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No. 10 steel crochet hook. For this cloth work with only a single strand of cotton.
