Jiffy Crochet Scarf Mats Pattern Laura Wheeler Design 2883

Jiffy Crocheted Scarfs: This crochet design is made of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton. Each medallion is made separately and tacked to the mesh. The pattern contains directions for making a scarf 12 x 34 inches and a mat 12 x 17 inches. The pieces can be used separately or they can be used to form a luncheon set.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs. This pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 2883.   The pattern description:  "It's quick to do - inexpensive - a pleasure to own - these easily crocheted scarf and mats. The flowers are all separate medallions joined together and sewn to easy mesh The scarf can be made in various sizes".

Materials:

• Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins
• No. 8 steel crochet hook.

Each mat requires approximately 255 yards of cotton. The 34 inch scarf requires approximately 510 yards of cotton.
