Description

Jumbo Check Casual : This sweater has a fun character all of its own. It is a knitting pattern featuring a high banded ribbed neckline, cuffs and bottom band. Also, below elbow length sleeves and the wonderful checked pattern. This vintage 1966 pattern is sizes 12, 14, 16 and 18. The instructions are listed as size 12, with changes for 14, 16 and 18 in parentheses. 

Materials: 

  • Reynolds Versailles (1 oz ball): Cafe Vert - Main Color (MC) - 4 (5-5-5-) balls; Bronze Color B - 3 (4-4-4) balls and White (C) - 2 balls. 
  • Knitting Needles: 1 pair each of No 5 and No 9 or size required to work to gauge. 
  • 1 set of No 5 dp needles and 9 bobbins. 

Gauge: speed St on No 9 needles - 4 sts = 1 inch; 7 rows = 1 inch.
