Description

Three Tone Sweater : This pattern contains directions to knit, crochet detail, the blouse pictured. This pretty design takes us back to 1948 where it appeared in an edition of Smart Knitting Magazine. The blouse knit in a primary and two secondary trim colors is sleeveless with extended shoulders creating cap like sleeves. It is just below waist length with a high neckline and front diagonal (from left shoulder to right waist), button closure. The pattern is written for misses size 12, with changes for 14, 16 and 18 in parentheses.

Materials:

  • Spinnerin Candour (4-oz. Skeins). 2 (2, 3, 3) skeins Main Color (MC). Small amount (about 30 yds.) of each of the 2 Contrasting Colors (CC) or Spinnerin Touring (2-oz. balls) 4 (4,4, 5) balls MC and small amounts of each Contrasting Colors (CC).
  • Needles: 1 pr. each No. 1 and No. 3.
  • Steel Crochet Hook No. 4.
  • 7 Buttons,
  • 1/2 yd. seam binding to match MC,
  • 1 pr. shoulder pads.

MEASUREMENTS :

  • Bust 30 (32, 34, 36)".
  • Length to underarm 14 (14, 14 ½, 15)".
