Kittens Chair Set in Filet Crochet Alice Brooks Design 7248

Filet Crochet Chair Set : This pattern contains directions to work the chair set pictured. It's a cute design --- who doesn't love kittens!. The filet crochet chair back has two kittens playing around a flower filled basket. The arms rests have no kittens; they further the flower display. The chair back measures 12 1/2 x 16 inches and each of the arm rests are 6 x 12 inches.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.   The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7248. It was also included in the Alice Brooks 1952 Designs Catalog.  The newspaper description:  "Chain stitches and double crochet - that's all you do to make this filet crochet set.
