Crocheted Chair Set : This crocheted chair set is to be made of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. If desired the chair set can also be used as a buffet set or the chair back can be used as scarf ends. The pattern includes a filet chart for the chair back and arm rest also directions describing how the charts are to be used.  

This is a Mail Order Pattern, purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.   The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7178 in 1957.   This was a quite popular pattern also marketed under The American Weekly and Laura Wheeler brands.
