Description

Shannon Coat : This pattern contains instructions to knit the vintage 1965 coat pictured above. The coat is textured in a faux woven design, has collar, half belt and is knee length (or length of your choice). The pattern is sized 10 to 18. The instructions are written for size 10, with changes for 12, 14, 16 and 18 shown in parentheses.

Materials:

  • - Spinnerin Frostlon Petite - 1 oz balls in beige and white (or colors of your choice), or Orlon Sayelle Sport or Nylaine Germantown Sport
  • - 14 inch knitting needles No 10 (Or English Size 3)
  • - One yard Pellon
  • - 1 1/2 yards lining material
  • - One 1 1/2 button
  • - Narrow leather thong belt.

Gauge: 5 sts = 1 inch; 5 rows = 1 inch.
