Knit Asian Flair Tunic Skirt Dress Pattern

Tunic Dress: This is a two piece dress that's a bit out of the norm. It's a knitted, with crochet edges, tunic and skirt. The tunic has a front band, giving it a faux empire look, with front button closing, extended shoulders giving a semi-sleeveless look. The length is mid thigh with a wide slit of the front, giving another peak at the skirt. The skirt is straight with a elasticized waist. The directions are for size 12. Changes for sizes 14, 16 and 18 are in parentheses.

Materials:

• Coats & Clarks Red Heart Knitting Worsted, 4 Ply (tangle-Proof Pull-Out Skeins): Color A - 32 (36-38-50) ozs. Color B - 2 oz,
• 3/4 inch elastic for waistband
• 4 button molds 1 inch in diameter.

• Knitting Needles: 1 pair No 8 or size required to knit to gauge.
• Size F crochet hook.

Gauge: Pattern St - 5 sts = 1 inch; 6 rows = 1 inch. Stockinette st - 9 sts = 2 inches; 13 rows = 2 inches.
